Tuesday Saints spent years performing as a duo while arranging and collaborating on original material. “Down-home and soulful in their delivery,” singer-songwriters Jeff Burnham and Nanette Addesso, who also plays fiddle, have developed a “fantastic male-female vocal dynamic.” The songs are hook driven with strong roots in folk music. The Saints made a record called “Hard Luck Town,” which Chip McCabe describes as “A perfect compliment to an album collection that includes acts like Son Volt and Wilco.” The band has grown over time with the addition of bassist Dennis Cartier and drummer/vocalist Seth Adam. This Americana rock band also draws comparisons to Lucinda Williams, Ryan Adams, and the Jayhawks. They’ve performed at a variety of venues as diverse as Cafe Nine in New Haven, the Stomping Ground in Putnam, the Acoustic Stage at Podunk Bluegrass, and CT Farm and Folk. Watch out for a new Tuesday Saints record in 2018.
